FHA - Something for First Time Buyers to Look At

With of the numerous products which have been available, FHA loans became yesterday's news. It really is a shame because FHA is, and always has been, a great option to enter into the wonderful world of homeownership.

FHA is committed to promoting homeownership through education and the backing of loans. They have great programs and, best of all, they are home loans that are built to last. You don't need to fear that an FHA loan will leave you holding a bag of increasing payments and empty equity.

In the past, many real estate professionals steered buyers away from FHA because of concerns that approval was difficult and non-allowable fees would make the offer less attractive. Today, that is just simply not the case. In January of 2006, FHA removed the allowable cost restrictions and in May of 2007 they got realistic with underwriting guidelines.

Today is a great time to revisit the FHA option! For more information, check out FHA's website.
